The final day at Snowbird is over. Sad but true.

Flying from SLC-Chicago-London-Stockholm drive Rättvik! It´s gonna be awsome to meet all the family and friends back in Sweden but it sucks that I couldn´t say goodbye to all my new frinds here. But to all of you GOODBYE and see you next year!!

3 Days...


It has been snowing for the last week and we have been skiing pow all week long. Today the sun came out and we had an awsome time! 

Been filming alot and got some awsome shots. Hopefully some more the last couple of days. Only 3 days left now leaving on Wednesday for Sweden and home sweet home. 

Sold the van today witch is good. Didn´t get that much for it but we dont have to deal with it anymore!

Got some new poles! Bought them from a local company called pandapoles.com they are verry good! Made out of bamboo. Visit their webpage pandapoles.com!

Skiing...


I haven´t been skiing for the last three days because I had some other things to do and i were tired aswell. I found this weard bump on my leg the other day. It felt like a bruse so I couldn´t but my boot on. But today we had some new snow so I tried to ski some and it went great!

These couple of down days has been good we got alot of stuff taken care of. Put the van out for sale, went to pick up the car seat, I bought a new camera, tuned my skis.
If anyone is interested in a Astro Van just give me a call.

Todays snow was a bit firmer then other storms but that was awsome. There has been some warm weather the last couple of days so the base got really hard!
But now its all good. Some nice weather is rolling in and hopefully some touring.

Day1 and finals...


My final run didnt go as planned. I had my inspection the morning of the comp and it went great the only thing I didnt notice was how flat the landing was on my firs cliff. That mistake did cost me a spot in the finals.
Came out of the gate and felt confident but then I landed and my skis flew up in the air and I backslaped. I didnt lose any speed so I just continued my run and had a blast!

I got a super low score cuz of my "fall", 23.6 and ended up on 48palce. Witch im happy with!


Finals were awsome to watch some of my good friends were competing and they threw down big time!

The Noth American Tour of 2011 is over and im allredy looking forward to 2012.

Quali day 2...


Today was the second day of qualifying. 17 men and 4 women made the cut and are going to compete tomorrow on Silverfox.

Tomorrows venu looks sick. Super fun and there are some really good conditions.
I have startnr 3 so right after the ladies its my turn. That is good cuz the snow is still good and not to beaten up. 


This afternoon I took the tram up to hidden peak with all the other staff/athelets to have an memorial for Ryan Hawks who passed away from his injuries at the Kirkwood comp.
It was really beautiful. The wind was roaring and the sun was about to set over the mountains. Many nice words were said and some tears froze on our cheeks...

Quali day went great!!!


Todays venu was West Baldy at Snowbird.
The weather was not perfect but good enough for a sick comp day. People were throwing down and the stoke was on top.


I was nervous like hell as usual. But I took my act together and placed 3rd in the qualifiers!
Im super happy and very exited to ski once again against some of the worlds best skiiers.



There is another day of qualifying tomorrow for the the rest. There is so many competitors this year that they had to do two days.

Comp day tomorrow...


Tomorrow is the first day of qualifier at Snowbird UT. Im starting 25th of the men and im exited about that!

To night me and Anna are driving Jonte to the airpot. His vacation is over and he is going home to Sweden at 7am. We have to leave at 3,30am. Not so exited about that.


Today was an awsome pow day! So light and deep.

Back in Sandy...


Just got back from Kirkwood and an unbelivable experience! I had so much fun met alot of nice people!


I had a realy nice comp. Placed 6th after the qualis 28th first day and final day placed 21 total. Super stoked about that! The venu was awsome scary but so much fun! 


I was so nervous before all my runs but I made it all the way and that is a big confidens booster for the next comp at Snowbird.


Now im gonna rest for a day or two and try to focus for the Snowbird comp in one week!

And my thoughts going out to Ryan with family.
